Obesity in school age children in Geelong

It is recommended that all children should do at least 60 minutes of moderate physical activity every day. Some suggest that children who are overweight or obese should do even more than this recommendation. Have you ever tried swimming as an activity for your child’s fitness and wellbeing?  Learning to swim at Leopold Swim School in Geelong can be an amazing activity for your child.  Swimming is a non- weight bearing activity, as it does not put extra stain on your child’s knees or ankles and it is great to help your child to get fit and stay fit.  Learning to swim at Leopold Swim School in Geelong can also help open up a new door to a new world of opportunities such as sporting clubs, school activities and a healthy life style option.

Children need to be kept active all year round and swimming can provide this, as Leopold Swim School is an indoor pool, kept at a warm 34 degrees, so that your child will enjoy their new activity.

Swimming is a great skill to learn and I am sure it would help to get the kids off their ipads and develop a new interest and enjoyable activity which will help to improve their quality of life.
