Leopold Swim School is widely recognised as leaders in kids swimming lessons with a focus on teaching proper swimming technique and small classes to help your child progress through the program. We invite you to join our swim school.

Enrolling for kids’ swimming lessons in Geelong

New students – First time enrolment

Joining Leopold Swim School is easy.

To get started, complete the Enrolment Form located in the sidebar. You’ll be asked to provide your child’s details and availability so we can match them with the most suitable class.

Once we receive your enrolment:

• We’ll organise a free swimming assessment (excluding babies and beginners)
• We assess your child’s current skill level to ensure correct class placement
• A non-refundable $50 deposit is required to secure your position

Enrolments are welcome all year round, and term fees are adjusted accordingly.

Re-Enrolment – Returning families

We ask all families to re-enrol each term. This ensures:

• Students are placed in the most appropriate swimming level
• Class availability is managed fairly
• Each term runs smoothly from week one

Absentee notifications

If your child is unable to attend a lesson, you must notify the swim school prior to the lesson start time to remain eligible for a make-up lesson.

Notification deadlines:

• Before 9:00am for morning lessons
• Before 3:45pm for afternoon lessons

To notify us of an absence, please complete the Absentee Form in the sidebar.

If we are not notified before the deadline, the lesson is forfeited.

Make-up swimming lessons

Unlike many other after-school activities, Leopold Swim School offers limited make-up lessons under specific conditions.

To request a make-up lesson, please complete the Make-up Lesson Request Form in the sidebar.

Make-up lesson conditions

• Absences must be reported before the required deadline
• Parents are responsible for arranging the make-up lesson
• Make-up lessons must be taken within the same term
• Lessons cannot roll over into the next term
• A maximum of two make-up lessons per term
• Make-up lessons will not be booked if fees are unpaid
• If the allocated make-up time does not suit, the lesson is forfeited
• Families away during the final week of term must book make-up lessons prior to the last week

Make-up lessons are subject to availability.

Swimming lesson fees & pricing

Swimming lessons are an investment in your child’s safety, confidence and lifelong water skills.

All swimming lesson fees are payable per term and must be paid by the due date. Outstanding accounts will incur a $5 late fee per child.

No credits or refunds are provided for missed lessons outside of the approved make-up lesson policy.

Swim school policies

To ensure a safe, clean and comfortable learning environment:

Swimming caps
All students aged 2½ years and older must wear a swimming cap during lessons.

Goggles
Goggles are optional but recommended to help swimmers build confidence when submerging their face in the water.
